Gwaugh1 played his way to becoming a poker millionaire in a $5 Spin & Go. It’s the third time in less than four weeks that a player has hit the big one at PokerStars.
The chance of landing a 240k multiplier is 1 in 10,000,000. Yet on PokerStars, a $1,200,000 prize pool was paid out in a $5 tournament for the third time in less than a month. For comparison, only one such jackpot was paid out last year, and only two in 2024.
The newest poker millionaire is Gwaugh1. The Brit beat Kepes897 ($120,000) from Hungary and g3t real ($80,000) from Denmark. Shortly before, dillerfar19 from Denmark and Anatsuk334 from Argentina each won a million too.
Ashley Chase, .COM Poker Director at PokerStars, said in a press release: “Three $1 million Spin & Go winners in just a few weeks is an incredible run, and we’re thrilled to celebrate it. Spin & Gos have always been about the excitement of not knowing what can happen when you sit down to play. These wins show just how quickly a small buy‑in can turn into something amazing. Congratulations to all three millionaires.”
