Starting on September 19, the £500+£60 UKPC Masters Main Event was held at the Dusk till Dawn Poker Club in Nottingham. The event featured a guaranteed prize pool of £500,000. In addition, 15 tickets to the £3,300 Grand Final were up for grabs. In the end, professional poker player Rehman Kassam claimed the title.
The Main Event began on September 22 with the online starting day on GGPoker. Participants then had further opportunities to qualify for the subsequent tournament days through the three regular flights—Day 1A, Day 1B, and Day 1C—as well as an additional turbo flight. After Day 2, 15 players remained in the running. By that point, each of them had already secured £3,500 in prize money and a seat in the Grand Final. On the final day, the focus was on the title and the additional prize money. A prize of more than £75,000 had been announced for the winner. Thanks to the heads-up deal, Kassam ultimately received just over £70,000.
The success at the UKPC Masters marks yet another tournament victory for Rehman Kassam. The poker pro, who serves as an ambassador for Poker Palace, demonstrated his strong form in the fall of 2026 with a victory at the A$10K High Roller at the Irish Open Sydney, winning $89,700 in prize money. More information about the UKPC Masters is available on the Dusk till Dawn Poker Club website.
