Killarney Festival 2026: €750,000 Guaranteed on the Irish Poker Tour

The Irish Poker Tour has become a staple of the Irish live poker scene and is held primarily in Irish cities and regions. The IPT is known above all for its large fields of players, attractive prize guarantees, and comparatively affordable buy-ins. From October 13 to 18, 2026, the Irish Poker Tour will once again make a stop in Killarney. At the Gleneagle Arena in County Kerry, more than €750,000 is guaranteed over the course of the entire event, with the Main Event alone featuring a guarantee of €400,000.

The highlight of the festival is undoubtedly the Killarney Main Event. The total buy-in is €700, and the tournament kicks off with €400,000 in guaranteed prize money. There are several starting days available for the Main Event. The regular flights begin on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with Day 2 kicking off as early as Saturday evening. In addition, there will be a fast-paced Hyper-Flight on Saturday, giving players the chance to qualify for the second phase of the tournament right up until the last moment. Each starting player will receive 40,000 chips.

In addition to the major Main Event, an extensive tournament schedule awaits participants. One of the first major highlights of the IPT in Killarney—the Mystery Bounty—kicks off as early as Wednesday, October 14. The buy-in is €500, broken down into a €250 buy-in, a €200 bounty portion, and a €50 fee. The guaranteed prize pool is €60,000. There are also plenty of opportunities for players on a smaller budget to earn a seat. Several Main Event satellites for €120 are spread throughout the festival week. Fans of Pot-Limit Omaha will also get their money’s worth. The Killarney Omaha Championship costs €1,650 including fees and starts on Thursday, October 15. The tournament features a starting stack of 40,000 chips and 40-minute levels. The final day is scheduled for Friday, and the guarantee is €40,000. Satellites are also being offered for the Omaha Championship, where players can earn a seat for as little as €250.

The Irish Poker Tour, together with Paddy Power and other iPoker partners, is offering affordable packages for the Main Event. It all starts with freerolls. At the end, a €100 package satellite awaits. The package has a total value of €1,660 and includes the €700 Main Event ticket, four nights’ accommodation for two people, and €300 in travel expenses. Main Event seats alone can also be won through a separate satellite ladder, which starts at €0.25 and progresses through €2 and €7.50 to the €50 final satellite.
