Curacao Gaming Authority – Lilith Wittmann Exposes Online Casino Operators

The servers of the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) were hacked. Over several months, security expert Lilith Wittmann gained access to operator data.

Last Friday, the Curaçao Gaming Authority announced there had been unauthorised access to sensitive data. The regulator said the hack was stopped and the attacker was located. Now there is more information.

The person behind the attack is Lilith Wittmann. The activist is working with outlets from Germany (NDR), Norway (NRK), Sweden (SVT), and the Netherlands (Follow the Money) to expose the operators of often black‑market online casinos.

“For nine months, I watched the gambling authority in Curaçao work live. Without the employees knowing about it. I could see who owns illegal online casinos, who finances them, and what the authority knew about their business. Today, in cooperation with NDR, NRK, SVT, and FTM, I am publishing the #casinosecrets,” said Lilith Wittmann on LinkedIn.

Wittmann published three reports on her own website about Platincasino, Softswiss, and the casino licences from Curaçao. The platforms working with Lilith Wittmann say there is a public interest in exposing the operators.
