The trojan scandal surrounding Paul Gregg remains a hot topic in the poker community. ACR Poker has issued a statement and introduced a new security measure called Screen Shield.
Paul Gregg is alleged to have cheated high‑stakes players in several poker rooms. According to the accusations, Gregg installed malicious software on victims’ computers. As became known last week, the trojan was spread via poker tools, among other routes.
ACR commented on the matter in a video message on Twitter. Phil Nagy can also be seen discussing the scandal. According to the poker room’s CEO, ACR hasn’t finished its investigation yet but is offering a new security feature with Screen Shield.
This tool stops software from monitoring a player’s tables via screen recording. Screen Shield is optional and goes unnoticed by the player themselves. According to Nagy, ACR has shared information about Screen Shield with other poker rooms.
