The Major Series of Poker (MSPT) was founded back in 2009, and its buy-ins and tournament structures appeal to both professionals and local amateurs. From September 29 to October 4, 2026, the MSPT will stop at the Sycuan Casino Resort in San Diego, California, for the “100 Grand Stack Series.” The festival will feature a total of ten Gold Card events.
The highlight of the series is the Main Event, with a buy-in of $1,110 and a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000, which will be held from October 1 through 4. Players will start with a stack of 100,000 tournament chips. In addition to the regular prize money, the winner of the Main Event will receive an additional $3,500 MSPT Championship seat. The Championship tournament will be held from November 27 to December 2, 2026, at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida, and offers a $2 million guarantee.
The festival kicks off with a $300 Epic Stack tournament and a $250 Monster Stack tournament. Milestone satellites will run concurrently, allowing players to qualify for additional satellites or the Main Event. The second day of the festival will once again feature two Gold Card events: the $300 Ultimate Stack NLH and a $250 Monster Stack NLH. Starting Thursday, October 1, the $300 Seniors tournament is open to players aged 50 and older. There will also be additional Monster Stack tournaments, a $300 Ultimate Stack, and a $300 40/30/40 NLH.
