The Major Series of Poker (MSPT) will make a stop in October 2026 with the Canadian Poker Championship at the Playground Casino in Kahnawake, near Montreal. From October 1 through 12, a total of 18 Gold Card events await players. The Canadian Poker Championship is not just a regular MSPT stop, but part of the Major Series of Poker’s Major Event Series. The five Major tournaments of the MSPT offer a guaranteed prize pool of at least $1 million. In addition, points toward the Player of the Year standings will be multiplied by 1.5.
The $300 Mega Stack NLH event is scheduled right at the start of the festival. The tournament features six starting flights, each with a guaranteed prize pool of $125,000. The highlight is the Canadian Poker Championship Main Event. The tournament has a buy-in of $1,150, a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000, and an additional $3,500 MSPT Championship seat for the winner.
Players can qualify for the Main Event through $180 Milestone Satellites, for example. In addition, satellites are scheduled for the high-roller tournaments as well as for the $1,000 Mystery Bounty Event.
