King’s: Sebastian Kotowicz leads at the FPF France Poker Festival

There are the first chip millionaires at the €290 FPF France Poker Festival (€1,000,000 GTD including 10 x €3k King’s Million EPC Packages) at King’s Resort Rozvadov. Sebastian Kotowicz, a familiar face, has also taken the overall lead.

Yesterday, May 22, the slow Flight 1E (40k/40′) and the faster Flight 1F (40k/30′) were on the schedule. The top 15% made it into the money (€600 Min-Cash), and the top 10% could pack for Day 2. The numbers picked up, but the big rush hasn’t happened yet. 210 and 238 players started, with an additional 101 and 78 re-entries. In total, there were 986 entries, and even a third of the prize pool guarantee hasn’t been reached yet.47 and 48 players secured the Min-Cash yesterday, with 32 and 31 players able to cash in. In both flights, the million mark was broken, with Sebastian Kotowicz taking in 1,218,000 chips on Day 1E, allowing him to take the lead overall. Antonio Fragale won Day 1F, finishing just behind Sebastian Kotowicz with 1,197,000 chips.Today, there is again a slower Flight 1G (40′) and the faster Speed Flight 1H (30′). A final Turbo Flight and some flips will be offered tomorrow before heading into Day 2. Today’s side events include a €150 Ladies event (€3,000 GTD/20k/20′) and a €150 Saturday Night Turbo (€10,000 GTD/15k/12′). Cash games, as always, begin with blinds of €1/2 NLH or €2/2 PLO.
