King’s: French Chip Leader at the Start of the FPF France Poker Festival

The King’s Resort Rozvadov kicked off yesterday, May 18th, with another million-dollar tournament. The €290 FPF France Poker Festival (€1,000,000 GTD including 10 x €3k King’s Million EPC Packages) opened with Day 1A, where French player Alban Jean Vormesse took the chip lead.Starting conditions were 40,000 chips and 30-minute levels, with the top 15% securing a min-cash of €600 and the top 10% qualifying for Day 2. With 42 starters and 17 re-entries, it was quite calm at the tables, nine players cashing out and six ending up packing their bags. Alban Jean Vormesse claimed the day’s victory with 595,000 chips, earning him a bonus ticket, while Patella came in as the top German in second place with 552,000 chips.Today features Day 1B with the same conditions, and starting tomorrow, there will also be side events. The flights will run until Sunday before heading into Day 2. The final table is set to be played on Pentecost Monday (May 25th). Cash games will start as always with blinds of €1/2 NLH or €2/2 PLO.
