Along with the Irish Open and the Poker EM, the Master Classics of Poker at Holland Casino Amsterdam are among the oldest European tournaments. This year’s event will be held from November 13 to 21, and the Main Event has a buy-in of €2,750 + 250.
Last year, the Main Event drew an impressive 427 entries, and winner Timothy Chung took home €203,800. Full tables are expected in Amsterdam not only for the WSOP Circuit but also for the MCOP. This year, the organizers are once again featuring a €2,750 + 250 Main Event, but the €5,700 High Roller is also back. The action kicks off with the €1,500 + 150 NLH, which always draws full tables right from the start. NLH players have plenty of options to choose from, with buy-ins starting as low as €300 + 30 for the smaller side events.
PLO players will also get their money’s worth at this year’s MCOP. Not only is the €4,700 PLO High Roller on the schedule, but also the €2,300 + 200 PLO and several other one- or two-day PLO tournaments.
As always, the MCOP also features lucrative cash games. Many players enjoy the variety of games and, of course, the location in the heart of Amsterdam.
