CAPT Bregenz: Strong Start at the Main Event

The first flight of the €1,000 + 100 Main Event of the Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT) at Casino Bregenz brought in 83 entries yesterday, June 5, with PLOliver taking the chiplead.The CAPT Bregenz Main Event features 100,000 chips and 40-minute levels with shallow blind increases. 71 players participated in the first flight yesterday, with twelve re-entries added to the mix. After Day 1A, there’s already €83,000 in the pot – and two more flights to go.15 levels were played, reducing the field to 19 players. PLOliver was the only one to break a million, reaching 1,640,000 chips. He is well ahead of Uppi with 970,000, who also has a comfortable lead over rommon (605,000).Today marks Day 1B under the same conditions, and in the evening, there will be a Turbo Flight with 20-minute levels. All remaining players will enter the final tomorrow with 40 or 60-minute levels. In the cash games, it starts from €1/3 NLH (mostly €2/5 NLH) or €2/2 PLO, and there’s some additional extra money available.
