The € 500 + 50 Main Event of the Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT) at Casino Velden has begun. Yesterday, on May 22, the first 86 entries were recorded, with Thomas Praschk securing the chip lead.The darts tournament provided excitement away from the tables yesterday. And the 24 players definitely had their fun, as they were also competing for tournament tickets. In the evening, the already established noodle buffet from the Cuisino Team of the “Yacht” drew great enthusiasm.The start of the Main Event also looked good. 73 players entered the tournament with 100,000 chips and 30-minute levels, and the re-entry option was utilized 13 times. With 86 entries, there is already € 43,000 in the pot. 13 players also secured a min-cash yesterday and packed up for the final. Thomas Praschk took the chip lead with 1,879,000 chips ahead of Markus Ferlin (1,110,000).Today at 2 PM is Day 1B, and then at 8 PM there will be Day 1C as a Turbo Flight (20′). Tomorrow’s final will be played with 40-minute levels. The cash games start as usual at € 1/3 NLH or € 2/2 PLO.
