Lukas Benkovic has taken the lead in the €250 Main Event of the Beer Poker Tour (€250,000 GTD) at Card Casino Samorin near Bratislava. Additional flights will be offered today and tomorrow before heading into the finals.
As a side event, yesterday, on June 26, there was the €130 Player on Tour. With 50,000 chips and 25-minute levels, they were playing for at least €10,000. 64 entries were not enough to meet the prize pool guarantee, resulting in €8,500 in the pot after deducting 15%. The top 10 positions were paid, with the winner receiving €2,550. Stefan Thewes fought for the victory but fell short against Ondrej Necas in heads-up play, with Stefan taking home €1,700 for second place.
