Card Casino Samorin: Attila Koncz wins the VPT High Roller, Adrian Goroholinschi leads at the Main Event

The Vamos Poker Tour (VPT) at Card Casino Samorin near Bratislava is already approaching the final stretch. Today there are two more flights in the € 315 + 35 Main Event (€ 250,000 GTD), and yesterday the champion of the € 630 + 70 VPT High Roller (€ 50,000 GTD) was crowned.Traffic during the festival is pretty good, but the guarantees for the side events were missed. However, the participation in the € 630 + 70 High Roller was high. Of the 75 entries, only 28 players remained from Day 1 when it reached the final yesterday, June 12. Late registration was still open, and 28 more entries came in, so the € 50,000 guarantee was easily surpassed. After deducting 5% for staff and 3% for ranking, there was € 59,698 in the pot, of which € 3,000 was reserved for two € 1,500 WSOPC tickets and € 1,650 for three € 550 VPT Lisboa tickets. The top 13 places were paid, with € 1,400 as the minimum cash. Two Austrians, Reinhard Faltejsek and Christoph Hillinger, made it to the final table, with Luxembourg’s Quinten Spyckerelle among the last nine. But Quinten’s run ended in 9th place (€ 1,700), Reinhard Faltejsek finished in 7th place (€ 2,200), and Christoph Hillinger ended in 6th place (€ 2,750). The € 315 + 35 Main Event (€ 250,000 GTD) continued with flights 1C and 1D, played with 60,000 chips and 30-minute levels. Again the turnout was not very high, with 85 and 68 entries bringing the total to 291 entries so far. Eleven and nine players made the cut, with Adrian Goroholinschi securing Day 1C and the overall lead with 896,000 chips. The best Austrian at the moment is Thomas Werdenich, who is in 13th place with 598,000 chips.Today at 12 PM and 6:30 PM, players will return to the tables for the Main Event, and tomorrow, there will be a Turbo (12′) and Flips offered. A side event today features the € 135 + 15 Grand Stack (€ 15,000 GTD/75k/30′), and in the evening, there’s the € 50 + 50 + 0 Turbo KO (€ 5,000 GTD/30k/12′).
