Banco Bratislava invites players to the Banco Casino Masters from June 15 to 22. With a Buy-In of € 170, players will again compete for a guaranteed prize pool of € 250,000. This also includes the € 225 + 25 PLO Masters (€ 15,000 GTD) and the € 500 + 50 SPT Challenger High Roller (€ 20,000 GTD).
For ten years, the Banco Casino Masters have been held in the Slovak capital, more often and for longer than any other poker event in Slovakia. Currently, there are four players who have won the title twice – Slovakians Andrej Desset and Erik Seffer and Austrians Nebo Ankucic and Belmondo. Eleven times, players from the German-speaking community have secured the title, including Daniel Rezaei, who is now a regular at the highest tournaments worldwide.Since April 2022, the BCM has consistently offered a Buy-In of € 170 with a € 250,000 prize money guarantee. Bratislava resident Maksym Ronshyn come out on top in a field of 1,563 entries and take home € 29,776 for the victory after a deal.
The 44th Banco Casino Masters
In the early stages, the format was changed and adjusted repeatedly. However, for a long time, the Buy-In of € 170 has proven to be optimal, and the € 250,000 prize money guarantee is highly attractive. This also applies to the chip leader bonus (€ 1,500/€ 750/€ 350), which makes each flight even more lucrative.The starting conditions have also been consistent for some time. Players receive 40,000 chips with 30-minute levels in the regular flights, and each flight ends with reaching the money spots (10% of entries). A total of ten flights (including turbos) are available, as well as the flips. The event starts on June 16, with Day 2 on Sunday, June 2. Here, the level duration is 45 minutes, and the final will take place on Monday with the last 16 players and 60-minute levels.
The Side EventsSeveral side events provide variety and alternatives to the main event. Omaha players will find satisfaction in the € 225 + 25 PLO Masters (€ 15,000 GTD/50k/30-40′). The € 500 + 50 SPT Challenger High Roller (€ 20,000 GTD) also looks promising. For the first time, the High Roller will be played over two days (June 19/20) with 50,000 chips and 30 or 40-minute levels. The complete action on the final day will be shown in a livestream. Another highlight is the € 120 + 80 + 25 Mystery Bounty (€ 5,000/€ 5,000 GTD / 25k/20′), traditionally held on Sunday.
