The first two ring events kicked off the inaugural WSOP Super Circuit yesterday, October 28, at King’s Resort Rozvadov. Nicholas Scott won the €500 Super Circuit Kick-Off, and Fabian Bartuschk won the €750 + 250 PLO Bounty.
The €500 Super Circuit Kick-Off began with 25,000 chips and 30-minute levels, with a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000. With 160 entries, the guarantee was not met; after deducting the 15% fee, €85,000 remained in the prize pool, which was distributed among the top 24 finishers. American Nicholas Scott prevailed in the heads-up match against Germany’s Hauke Nettkau to claim the victory and €21,200.

Event #2 was the €750 + 250 PLO Bounty, which also had a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000. Here, too, with 80 entries, the total fell short of the guarantee; after deducting the 15% fee, there was €85,000 in the prize pool. Of that, €20,000 went toward bounties, and €60,000 was split among the top twelve finishers. However, 13 players ended up cashing, as the bubble burst twice, meaning the minimum cash prize of €2,060 was split among them. The winner walked away with €18,900 plus bounties, and it was Fabian Bartuschk who claimed his fourth WSOPC gold ring.
