The “Poker Festspiele” is one of the highlights of Casino Salzburg’s poker calendar. This weekend, poker will once again be played at the venerable Kleßheim Palace, where €20,000 in prize money awaits in the €300 + 30 Opus tournament.
Just last weekend, the CAPT Million’s One Day Flight provided plenty of action; now it’s time for the Poker Festival. Even though the festival’s poker event can’t compare to Salzburg’s “Jedermann,” it’s still poker for everyone—men and women alike. Today kicks off leisurely with the €130 + 20 Opener (50k/20′), and tomorrow is Satellite Day. At least five Main Event tickets are up for grabs in the €30 + 6 Satellite. On Thursday, the €100 + 20 Presto (100K/15′) will provide the action, before the €300 + 30 Opus kicks off on Friday. The conditions are 100,000 chips and 30-minute levels; late registration ends when the final begins on Saturday. €20,000 in prize money is guaranteed here. To wrap things up, there’s the €75 + 15 Classic (40k/20′) on Saturday.
