Casino Baden: Jordan Woodall Wins Pokermania XXL

The €200 + 30 Pokermania XXL at Casino Baden came to an end yesterday, October 18, without any deals. Jordan Woodall emerged victorious and took home €18.40 in prize money and the €550 CAPT Million ticket.

595 entries (452/143) across the six flights created a prize pool of €119,000. Six players achieved double qualification, with Uppi not only leading in chips but also claiming the additional €1,000 as the double qualification champion. Things didn’t go as well for him in yesterday’s final, however; he missed the final table by finishing in 11th place and had to settle for €1,580 (+€2,000).

83 players started the final with 40-minute levels, all guaranteed a minimum cash prize of €500. The winner took home €18,740, and the top 3 also received the €550 CAPT Million ticket. There were many familiar faces at the tables, making for an illustrious final table. There was no deal; Jordan Woodall claimed the victory and took home €18,750 plus a €550 CAPT Million ticket, Oleksandr Smirnov (€12,000 + ticket) and Ioannis Nanos (€8,700 + ticket) rounded out the podium.

Following the successful Pokermania XXL interlude, the focus is now entirely on the CAPT Million. Events kick off every Saturday, with the grand finale running from November 19 through November 30. There are also still plenty of satellites being offered. And don’t forget—double qualification for the CAPT Million is worth a whopping €4,000 (minimum cash prize €1,500).

Poker is played daily in the Poker Lounge at Casino Baden; cash games start with blinds of €1/3 NLH or €2/2 PLO. You can find all the details at baden.casinos.at.
