Robert Gianquitti took down the Harrah’s Pompano Beach World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event for $248,632. The American also secured his first golden Circuit Ring.
Another WSOPC stop is in the books. From 1 to 12 October, the series was at Harrah’s Pompano Beach in Florida. Eighteen gold rings were awarded, including in the $2,200 No‑Limit Hold’em High Roller. There, 21 players shared $268,000. The win, the ring, and $65,949 went to Sam Spira.
The $1,700 Main Event had $1,000,000 in prize money guaranteed. But a total of 1,001 entries meant $1.36 million was played for. The top 147 players made the money, with the min cash worth $3,419. On the bubble, Mark Guariglia and Amrutha Alladi were eliminated at the same time, so the two shared that amount.
The win came down to Robert Gianquitti and Nagui Yassa ($165,725). On the final hand, Yassa lost with
