The second edition of the “Gods of Poker” tournament series was originally scheduled to take place from December 4 to 13 at Les A Casino in Shinhwa World, Jeju. The organizers have now canceled the series, titled “The Olympus Return,” on short notice.
In an official statement, “Gods of Poker” announced that the event cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances. In the cancellation notice, Gods of Poker specifically addresses the players, partners, and the entire poker community. The organizers regret that the series cannot take place as planned and apologize to everyone who had been looking forward to returning to Jeju. At the same time, Gods of Poker expresses its gratitude for the community’s continued support and understanding. No further details regarding the reasons for the cancellation were provided. The published cancellation notice contains no information regarding potential impacts on bookings already made or other travel arrangements. Nor has a possible alternative date or rescheduling of the festival been announced thus far.
After stops in Taipei, Phnom Penh, Incheon, and Manila, among other locations, the tour was scheduled to return to Jeju in December. However, the cancellation does not mean the end of the 2026 Gods of Poker season. The official tournament calendar still lists GOP Incheon 2026 II – The Labyrinth Trail as the next event. The series is scheduled for October 30 through November 8, 2026, and, according to the current calendar, comprises 76 events. The Gods of Poker website may provide updated information soon.
