King’s: Zappa Takes Down the Friday Night Turbo

There were full tables yesterday, June 26, for the €125 Friday Night Turbo (€10,000 GTD) Side Event of the King’s Million Anniversary at King’s Resort Rozvadov. The victory went to Zappa after a deal, who took home €3,316.The €125 buy-in provided each player with 15,000 chips, and the blinds increased every twelve minutes. €10,000 was guaranteed, but with 169 entries and another 33 re-entries, the prize pool was more than doubled. After the 16% fee was deducted, there were €21,210 in the pot, paying out the top 31 places. The winner would have received €5,032. However, it ended prematurely when the last five agreed on a deal. Zappa secured the win for €3,316, with Diamo (€2,355) and Daniel Rempp (5th for €1,960) also participating in the deal.Today, the focus is on the last two regular flights of the €230 King’s Million Anniversary, leaving just a bit of room this afternoon for the €150 Omaha (€10,000 GTD/15k/15′) as a side event.
