For the very first time ever, during the 35th Poker EM (July 14 to 26) at Casino Velden, there will be a € 500 + 50 Senior European Championship. We received a ticket that we would of course like to pass on to you.
Not only at the WSOP are seniors a large player group. 50+, that’s basically the entire generation of poker players who came into the game during the poker boom. And correspondingly, the participant fields have grown significantly among seniors. In Europe, these events mostly take place at EPT stops, but only in the last decade. Perhaps there was a smaller seniors event in Austria during a festival in the past, but I can’t recall. This makes the European Championship a double premiere – the first seniors event in Austria and also an official EM title event.The seniors title is the first of ten that will be awarded at this year’s Poker EM. The event is scheduled for July 15 and 16, featuring 50,000 chips and 30-minute levels. Twelve levels will be played on Day 1, then the remaining players will advance to the final.We have received a ticket from Casinos Austria that we would like to pass on to you.
