WSOP 2026: Max Kruse and Philip Sternheimer in the Razz Championship Final

The next two chances for a bracelet for Germany. Max Kruse and Philip Sternheimer are among the final eight in the $1,000 Razz Championship (#48) of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas, competing for a prize of $1,026.In this $1k Championship Event, the late registration was still open on Day 2 and was used well. With 155 entrants, they surpassed last year’s numbers, and $1,441,500 ended up in the pot. The top 24 spots were paid, guaranteeing $1,129 as prize money. Sebastian Pauli and Dennis Weiss survived Day 1, but like Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, Nick Schulman, Michael Mizrachi, Dan Cates, and others, they went out empty-handed.On the bubble, Calvin Anderson made a double seat with the 7-5 low, Alexis Cruz Martinez went out empty-handed, while Ryan Miller was able to take home the min-cash of $1,129.On the way to the final table, players like Yuri Dzivielevski and Eli Elezra were eliminated, and Benny Glaser also missed the final table.Eight players made it to the final table, with Calvin Anderson holding 1,885,000 chips just ahead of Eric Rodawig (1,865,000), followed by Max Kruse (1,505,000) and Philip Sternheimer (1,380,000). All are guaranteed $1,395 as they return to the final table.
