Battle of Malta: German Double Wins in the High Roller and Beer Poker Tour

Malta continues to be a great spot for the German-speaking community. At the Battle of Malta in Casino Malta, there was a German double victory in the €1,000 + 100 High Roller event as well as in the €170 + 30 Beer Poker Tour.The €1,000 + 100 High Roller was played over two days with 50,000 chips and 30-minute levels. A guaranteed prize pool of €200,000 was surpassed with 232 entries, totaling €218,080 in the pot. The top 31 places were paid, with a hefty €46,180 waiting for the winner. With Fabian Wolf and Florian Henck, the last two Germans not only made it to the final table but also ended up heads-up. The tour, which ran from June 23 to 28 at Card Casino Samorin (SK)  offered 20,000 chips and 20-minute levels, with a sponsored BPT Slovakia package for the winner. A total of 204 entries were recorded, leading to a pot of €32,599. The top 31 places were also paid out, and again two Germans made it to the final table – and the heads-up. After Sascha Manns had to settle for second place in HORSE, he was able to score the victory here and take home €6,920 + €600 package.
