Today, October 2, 2026, the moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived: The Sunday Million Live kicks off at the Casino di Campione d’Italia. To celebrate PokerStars’ 25th anniversary, the famous online tournament is returning to the tables as a major live event for the first time since 2017. A ten-day poker festival awaits participants through October 12.
The first start flight of the Main Event kicks things off today at 2:00 p.m. The buy-in is €250, and players start with a stack of 50,000 chips. Day 1A will continue until 12.5 percent of the original field remains in the tournament. Registration remains open until 8:30 p.m. The Sunday Million Live Main Event features a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. Additional opportunities to secure a seat in Day 2 are available on October 3 and 4, as well as from October 7 through 9. This brings the total number of starting days to six. The tournament will then continue on October 10 with the two second-day sessions, followed by Day 3 on October 11 and the grand final day on October 12.
The festival also features 16 side events. For example, kicking things off today at 9:00 p.m. is the “Need for Speed Live,” with a buy-in of €150 and a starting stack of 30,000 chips. In the days that follow, the lineup will include the Night On Stars Live, the Sunday Big Live, a High Roller Mystery Bounty with a €1,000 buy-in, and the PLO Omania Live for €300, among others. With the exception of the High Roller tournament and the €400 Colossal Stack Live, all side events are one-day tournaments.
The PokerStars Sunday Million Live made its debut in 2017 at King’s Resort in Rozvadov. At the time, the event set a new attendance record at King’s with 5,045 entries. Now, the second edition is finally here. In September 2026, PokerStars.it offered numerous online flights for the live tournament.
