Three tournaments were played to conclude the “The Core Festival” powered by Keolepoker at the Grand Casino Liechtenstein (GCLI) yesterday, June 21. Stefan Eggenberger, Christian Peukert, and Hansca secured the wins.The CHF 230 + 20 Stud Freezeout was played with 30,000 chips and 25-minute levels, slightly exceeding the CHF 2,500 guarantee with eleven participants. The top 2 spots were paid, with CHF 1,520 awarded to the winner. The final tournament was the CHF 105 + 15 The Closer. Here, players competed with 30,000 chips and 20-minute levels for a minimum of CHF 2,000, surpassing the guarantee with 19 starters and four re-entries. CHF 2,515 was in the pot, with the first three positions paid. CHF 1,210 was set aside for the winner. On the bubble, a deal was agreed upon, and just after Christoph S. collected the CHF 100 for the bubble, the last three players settled on a deal. Then there was of course the final day for the CHF 270 + 30 Frozen Freezeout. Of the 50 starters, six players remained, led by Dendemaier into the final. All had secured CHF 1,050, and the winner was set to receive CHF 5,100. The initial chip leader had no luck in the final, finishing in 5th place for CHF 1,350. In the heads-up, a deal was made, and Hansca secured the victory for CHF 4,387.50, while Sandro Zarriello took home CHF 4,237.50 for 2nd place.From July 1 to 5, the next festival, Bounty Hunter Days, awaits at GCLI, but until then, the regular program continues with daily tournaments.
