GCA Poker: PatPet secures victory at the GRND Live X Main Event

It was a whirlwind of action yesterday, June 14, during the final day of the € 150 + 20 Main Event at GRND Live X at Grand Casino Aš (GCA). PatPet managed to clinch the victory and secure € 22,150 after a deal.

Out of 878 entries (663/215), there were still 132 players remaining heading into the final. All were guaranteed at least € 230, with the winner set to take home € 23,000 in prize money. The action was fast-paced, as 100 players had already been eliminated after just one hour. Before 8 PM, the last nine players took their seats at the final table.

The action became a bit more cautious there, and it took some time before Robert Roth was the first to go, saying “Seat open”. He faced a classic flip with Nines against PatPet’s and the board brought an Ace on the flop, reducing the field to eight.

The next “Seat open” came shortly after, as Dominik Martan exited with against PatPet’s , with the board showing .

Greiza went all-in with , Mulli held , and PatPet made the call with . The board revealed , giving Mulli a triple up, while Greiza finished in 7th place.

Only minutes later, Benjamin Wachsmuth flipped poorly with against PatPet’s Queens, while Hagen Engelhard folded pocket 3s. The board showed .

Half an hour later, it was “Seat open” again, as Hagen Engelhard met his end with against PatPet’s ; the board came , leaving four players remaining.

However, it wasn’t long before Mulli had to leave with against PatPet’s , as the board ran out .

With three remaining, a deal occurred quickly, with € 3,000 left in the pot. Laurenzo Calzone, who secured € 15,570 from the deal, exited in 3rd place after losing short-stacked with against DJ Ralf’s . In the heads-up, PatPet didn’t give any ground, claiming DJ Ralf’s chips with , while the board showed . Thus, PatPet was declared the official winner, taking home a total of € 22,150.
