Jessica Teusl Rules—From Poker Royale to the Triton High Stakes Club

Ranked 3rd on the 2026 Women’s Money List, ranked 26th on the Women’s All-Time Money List. And the clear #1 among DACH women. Jessica Teusl has built a poker career that many only dream of. She worked her way up from the €1/1 Dealers’ Choice round at Poker Royale Wiener Neustadt to the Triton High Stakes Tournaments.

Poker Royale Wiener Neustadt accompanied Jessi as she took her first steps into the world of poker. There, she became familiar with many poker variants, as the €1/1 Dealers Choice round was a favorite among players from Courchevel as well. It was in 2017 when she decided to build a career in poker as a second source of income alongside her marketing agency. Many have made such decisions, but for very few did the dream actually become a reality.

When she was eliminated on the bubble during the opening tournament of the 2017 European Poker Championship, she nevertheless decided to return for the very first Ladies European Championship. And there, after striking a deal, she claimed the very first Ladies European Championship title—and her very first title as well. She made it into the *Bild* newspaper, and the Austrian media also celebrated the first Ladies European Champion. The fact that Jessi would go on to win the title again in 2018 and 2019 already elevated her to a level that many others never reach. Financially, the success was far from substantial. But everyone knew Jessi, and as a brand ambassador for win2day, she was already a fixture in the Austrian poker scene. The next step up the career ladder was her victory at the Snow Festival during the 2020 CAPT Seefeld, where she proved she could win more than just ladies’ events.

Despite the COVID-related hiatus in live poker, she continued her winning streak. Together with her partner Stefan Lehner, she headed to the Caribbean and went after her first gold rings at the WSOPC Aruba. Stefan managed to win one—against Jessi in heads-up play. And so Jessi had to keep dreaming of that one big success. It would come sooner than many had expected. In 2022, she headed to the WSOP in Las Vegas for the first time. There, she not only reached the final table in the Monster Stack, but she actually marched her way to a bracelet—and in the Ladies Championship, of all events. Three-time European champion, Ladies World Champion—these are achievements to be proud of.

But for Jessi, that was far from enough. She had always wanted to be among the best. She’d made a name for herself with her marketing agency, and now she wanted to join the poker elite as well. It was actually Fedor Holz who opened that door for her. Although many assume that Jessi only plays poker these days, she’s still successfully running her agency and therefore still doesn’t have pro status. And that’s exactly what should enable her, as an amateur, to secure invitee status at the Triton Invitationals.

So in 2024, at the WSOP Paradise, she first came into contact with the world of the absolute high-stakes elite and played the $500k Triton Million. Several Invitationals followed, though she was never able to secure a win. Jessica made her first trip to Jeju in September 2026. There, she made it into the money for the first time in a record-breaking field, before also cashing in her very first $100k NLH Main Event.

In 2026, Jessi also secured her very first cash at the EPT Main Event in Paris and even nearly made it to the final table. She also made a deep run at the WSOP Ladies Event in Las Vegas. With her successes in Jeju, Jessica Teusl then surpassed Jessica Vierling on the DACH all-time ladies list; Vierling had previously earned her biggest cash to date with her victory at the WSOP Circuit in Commerce in 2024. Looking at the 2026 Ladies leaderboard, Jessica Teusl is far ahead of the rest—although Jessica Vierling and Anca Eggenberger (the first female bracelet winner at WSOP Europe) were anything but unsuccessful.

There are still numerous events coming up in the final stretch of the year. Jessica Teusl will definitely be competing in the Triton Series in Cyprus and, of course, at the CAPT Million at Casino Baden. Even though Kristen Foxen is unassailable in first place on the 2026 Ladies List—second place is definitely within reach.
