The 44th edition of the Banco Casino Masters at
Banco Bratislava has begun. With a buy-in of €170, the prize pool is once again €250,000, and the top 14 players have qualified for Day 2.Yesterday, on June 16, the first flight took place. For the buy-in, players receive 40,000 chips, and the level duration in the regular flights is 30 minutes. A solid 143 entries were recorded on Day 1A, resulting in plenty of action yesterday.
14 players made it through to Day 2, with the top 3 being awarded the chipleader bonus (€1,500 – €750 – €350). The day was won by Hungarian Zoltan Cserhalmi (1,509,000) ahead of Oystein Brenden (906,000) and Banco chief blogger Denis Dox (575,000). The only Austrian left at the end was Alexander Zirkelbach (80,000).Today, Day 1B is set to proceed under the same conditions, featuring cash games daily starting from blinds of €1/3 NLH or €2/2 PLO.
