The Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) is one of the longest-running poker tours for women. LIPS’ annual Women in Poker Winter Festival always takes place in December in Las Vegas. In 2026, the festival will be held at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino for the first time. The event will run from December 8 to 11, 2026. A total of $70,000 in prize money is guaranteed for the two major championship events.
The highlight of the festival is the LIPS Ladies Championship, which begins on Thursday, December 10, at 10:10 a.m. The No-Limit Hold’em tournament has an $800 buy-in and will be played over two days. The restart with the remaining players is scheduled for Friday, December 11, at 10:00 a.m. The prize pool guarantee is $40,000. Female players who want to secure their spot can play satellites on the two preceding days. On Tuesday and Wednesday, a Milestone Satellite with a $100 buy-in is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. each day. Two seats for the Ladies Championship are guaranteed for each of these qualifying tournaments.
On Wednesday, December 9, the LIPS Poker Jingle Tag Team begins at 10:10 a.m. The No-Limit Hold’em tournament costs $600 per team and offers a $10,000 guarantee. A unique feature is the entry requirement: Each team must include at least one woman. This means that both all-female teams and mixed teams can compete.
On Friday, December 11, the LIPS Kings & Queens Bounty is scheduled to begin at 11:10 a.m. The No-Limit Hold’em tournament costs $600 and offers a guaranteed prize pool of $30,000. Additionally, $200 bounties are available per player. Although the festival focuses on women’s poker, this event is expressly open to all players. A special trophy awaits the last man remaining in the tournament, the “King,” and the last woman remaining, the “Queen.”
