Is the ring race getting close again? Daniel Lowery and Ari Engel each captured the 21st WSOPC ring of their careers on two consecutive days.
With 26 WSOPC titles, Maurice Hawkins is currently the record holder at the World Series of Poker. Now things are getting a little more exciting, because both Ari Engel and Daniel Lowery have caught up to him.
At the WSOP Circuit at Horseshoe Council Bluffs, Daniel Lowery won the $400 Big O (Event #7). He collected $8,607 in prize money and the coveted gold ring. The tournament drew 15 participants, who shared $31,680.
Ari Engel was also at the Final Table, but had to settle for 3rd place and $3,672. Not even 24 hours later, the Canadian‑born player claimed his 21st title. In the $400 NLH (Event #9), the poker pro came out on top and left the table with $6,613. Eleven players shared a total of $22,440 in that event.
