The “Championnat de France de Poker,” the French Poker Championship, will return to the Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence in October 2026. From October 14 to 26, participants can look forward to an extensive festival featuring four main championship events, numerous side events, and satellites.
The focus will be on four championship events, which will be held in various poker formats:

The first event is the €500 French 6-Max Championship, which takes place October 16–19. Players start with 50,000 chips. Next up is the €500 Mix Max 8/6/4 French Championship from October 19–21. This format, which was added to the tournament calendar in 2025, gradually increases the table size as the tournament progresses: first 8-max, then 6-max, and finally 4-max. The starting stack is 250,000 chips. On October 21 and 22, the action continues with the €500 French Championship Omaha.
And the highlight, of course, is the “Championnat de France” Main Event. This tournament has a buy-in of 1,000 euros and is played in an 8-max format. A unique feature is that the tournament days are split between two venues. Starting Days 1A, 1B, and 2A will take place in Paris at the Partouche Pasino Club. By the end of Day 2A, players will have already made it into the money and qualified for Day 3 in Aix-en-Provence. The 2025 Main Event set a new attendance record with 711 entries and a prize pool of €614,304. Ali Cicioglu emerged as the winner, securing the title and prize money of €100,000.
In total, the program is set to include 48 side events and satellites. In the run-up to the festival, Texapoker is also organizing several stages of the “Road to the French Championship.” Additionally, players can qualify for the French Championship via PMU Poker and Partouche.com.
