The King’s Anniversary Million is already looming, during the €175 Main Event of the Benelux Classics (€300,000 GTD including 10 x €3k King’s Million EPC Packages) at the King’s Resort Rozvadov, it has been quiet at the tables this weekend. Only a third of the guarantee is in play and value awaits.

Yesterday, June 19th, there were two flights on offer. Those who started early went to the tables with 50,000 chips and 40-minute levels, while in the evening, the blinds increased every 30 minutes. Both flights had only a moderate field, with 97 and 74 players buying in, while 54 and 24 did so a second time. This resulted in a total of 526 entries (365/161) – which accounts for less than a third of the €300,000 guarantee.23 and 15 players managed to secure the min-cash of €350 yesterday, with 16 and ten players packing for Day 2. Liudger Henk Bekkema secured 1,283,000 chips in Flight 1E and the bonus ticket, while KingofHearts needed only 840,000 in the evening flight to take the daily victory. Bekkema is now leading the overall standings.Whether the massive surge will come today due to the beautiful summer weather, the World Cup, and solstice celebrations remains to be seen; it looks more like extra money awaits. Today and tomorrow, players can still enter, starting today at 11 AM with 40-minute levels, and at 6 PM with 30-minute levels. Tomorrow there will be turbo and flip events before heading into Day 2. The side events include €120 Omaha (€8,000 GTD/15k/15′) and €130 Saturday Night Turbo (€10,000 GTD/15k/15′). The cash games start as always with the blinds of €1/2 NLH or €2/2 PLO.
