There was a huge turnout yesterday, June 6, at the €1,000 + 100 Main Event of the Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT) at Casino Bregenz. A new record was set with a total of 264 entries, and 65 players are advancing to a long final day today, where €54,500 awaits the winner. The first day was held yesterday in Day 1B, which had a starting stack of 100,000 chips and 40-minute levels. After Day 1A on Friday had been well-attended, we welcomed an additional 108 starters and 32 re-entries yesterday. The Turbo Flight in the evening, played with 20-minute levels, also brought 38 players to the tables, with three more rebuys made. In total, there were 264 entries, an absolute record in the long tradition of CAPT Bregenz. After 15 levels, 30 and then 15 players survived yesterday; Player DB stormed to the top on Day 1B with 1,035,000 chips, while Stephanto narrowly missed the million mark with 975k. Dragu secured Day 1C with 570,000 chips. No one could catch up to the chip leader of Day 1A, PLOliver, who had 1,640,000, and so he will lead the 65 players into the final today, with blinds at 10k/15k/15k. The level duration remains 40 minutes, increasing to 60 minutes at the final table. The first goal is to reach the 39 pay spots, which secure €2,270 as a min-cash. The winner can look forward to €54,500.As a closing event, there will be a €200 + 30 CAPT Weekender (25k/25′).
