The family-friendly vibe at the GCA Poker floor is one reason why so many players continually return, and many of the GCA’s partnerships date back several years. Some small festivals have grown into large ones, while others have only recently joined the fold.The Dorfkinder have only been around since last year, and this weekend it’s party and poker at the Dorfkinder Cup (June 3rd to 6th). The highlight is the € 130 + 20 Deepstack Main Event on Saturday (€ 40,000 GTD/50k/30′). In addition, there will be plenty of side events, and the festival is set to offer € 90,000 GTD in total.
Next week, Felix “xflix” Schneiders and his GRND on Tour crew will come to the GRND Live X (June 10th to 14th). The “X” actually stands for the Roman numeral 10, as this marks the tenth festival they’re celebrating together. Classics such as Kroko Cup, Seven Always Comes, and Hot PKO cannot be missed here, along with the € 150 + 20 GRND Main Event, which guarantees € 100,000.
From June 18th to 21st, FairGame will return. This partnership has also been around for a long time, ensuring a great atmosphere at moderate buy-ins. The highlight is the € 85 + 15 Fairgame Poker Cup, which will be held as a single-day event with € 20,000 GTD.
Following that are three traditional weekends, before Marc Gork visits with the ÖSOP from July 15th to 19th. Those in the know will recognize it – it’s practically two festivals in one. There will be plenty of NLH action, as well as significant PLO action. If you enjoy four or more hole cards, you’ll be just as well accommodated as the two-card lovers. There will be two Main Events: the € 180 + 20 PLO Main Event is a one-day event with € 25,000 GTD, while the € 130 + 20 NLH Main Event is a multi-flight event with € 50,000 GTD.
From July 24th to 26th, there will be a premiere with the Ceska Pokerova Tour. The Czech tour is making its debut at the GCA, bringing a € 160 + 20 Main Event with a € 40,000 prize pool guarantee. By the way, this will also be televised in the Czech Republic. Of course, side events won’t be missing either.
After a traditional weekend, “The Big Deal” will take place from August 7th to 9th. What lies behind it is still a big deal; details will be revealed later.
Another highlight, and almost a must-see, is the summer stop of the Bounty Hunter Days powered by poker-trip.de. € 280,000 in prize money awaits from August 12th to 16th, with the € 140 + 60 + 30 PKO Main Event coming with a € 150,000 guarantee. Of course, Mayoman and Barista Rebel, as well as many regulars from the bounty group, will also be in attendance.

On August 21st and 22nd, there will be a premiere. The River Card Club is far from new, but since the start of the year, the club has been regularly playing at the GCA. In spring, there was already a first internal special; now they’re going “public” and inviting others to join in. Four tournaments over two days will provide variety, and € 40,000 is guaranteed for the € 130 + 20 Main Event.
